Plugin Requirements

Before installing LandGuard on your server, make sure your environment meets the following requirements to ensure full compatibility and functionality.

✅ Minecraft Server Type​

LandGuard is a Bukkit-based plugin, compatible with the following server implementations:

  • Spigot
  • Paper (Recommended for performance and plugin compatibility)
  • Purpur

❌ Not compatible with Bedrock-only servers or non-Bukkit platforms like Forge or Fabric.

🖥️ Java Version​

LandGuard requires:

  • Java 14 or higher

To check your Java version, use the following command:

java -version

📦 Dependencies​

LandGuard doesn't have any mandatory dependencies. However, if you are interested in the economy features provided by LandGuard, you need to install:

  • Vault
  • An economy provider like EssentialsX
